Traveling with Remember me... (part 4)
Today we will travel to the great city of New York in the United States of America, a mega-metropolis where some of the most tense situations of all my history take place...
When I started writing the final chapters of Remember me, I wondered what would be the ideal location for those scenes of much action, with high technology involved in them and where they would unleash, finally, all those secondary plots that had begun and also, where one of the most iconic sites of my history could be located... and almost immediately this megacity came to my mind.
New York is simply perfect; full of buildings of the most important financial entities and international companies with its huge, imposing skyscrapers, reigning above all. Its stamp is of power, domain, reach...
Its architecture and location are ideal for Remember me. Buildings with helipads, large underground parking lots, labyrinthine streets, state-of-the-art technology... All these aspects, so contrasting with those exposed in the previous chapters of my book (where art and nature prevailed over everything) They give an importance and an enhancement to the whole story that is clearly appreciated when you finish reading Remember me and see it in retrospect.
In New York you have the feeling that everything can happen and at any moment, there is no place in this world that does not connect in any way with this city, it is as if our society (in a global vision) was designed in metropolis as this. It is the city where a powerful western corporation with global coverage would have its central headquarters, of that there is no doubt and that is why I chose it.
Since I incorporated it into my novel I knew that I would return to it in future books.
