Remember me. The story behind the story (part 8)

The style.

What defines a work is without a doubt: its style.
I consider myself fortunate to have received, as a child, an education that makes me proud now, as an adult.
I was instilled with an appreciation for classical music, books, painting, sculpture... one of the first games I learned to play was chess and one of the first books I remember is La Fontaine's Fables... I think that all this has been modeling in me a sense of special refinement, which is reflected in my novel Remember me.
Inside me there are many mental images that I acquired from my childhood and that I incorporate into my work chapter after chapter.
The references to the maritime world, to travel and to nature, that appear constantly in my novel and that even model a large part of the chapters, are my own aspects, private and deeply rooted within my being and that are reflected in my story.
And that is why I have enjoyed and enjoy this particular novel so much, for me it is like reliving passages of my life, it allows me to recall sensations that inspire me and that make my imagination fly in such a way that I can only compare it with listening a special and unique musical theme, of those that, like a fragrance, can transport us immediately to a place that seemed already forgotten.
I have decided to decorate this post on my blog with images belonging to creations of the famous french factory of watches and jewelery Cartier that seem perfect for the topic in question.

Among all the plots I have written throughout my life is precisely in Remember me where I can fully enjoy this facet of mine refinement and giving free rein, since the protagonist, Armony Heart, is a professional violinist and from there they derive a lot of aspects related to art and finesse that I like so much: music instruments, pictorial and musical works by classical artists, luxury jewelery, fine perfumes, concerts and gala parties, first class hotels, etc...
All of the above, as well as travel by tourist destinations around the world, are elements that I know and enjoy a lot when I have the opportunity and I hope that everyone who reads Remember me can appreciate as much as I do.
